A gorgeous Duchess Satin flared A-line dress with a decolette. The wide set over shoulder straps were heavily encrusted with hand applied antique Swarovski stones designed in a simple floral motif.
The bodice featured hand gathered open pleats at the bust with a fitted cathedral empire line into the skirt. One hundred yards of fine tulle with a metal hooped underskirt finished the foundations of the dress to allow flowing movement in the skirt and train.
A white Silk Organza gown of upmost simplicity yet in depth creativity and technical detailing. A structured sweetheart bodice comprising 3 layers of organza over spiral boned canvas is finished with a flourish of organza in an asymmetrical design over the left side of the bodice.
Layer upon layer of raw cut organza panels were individually pieced onto a tulle foundation forming a constantly moving ripple effect for the A-Line skirt. The dress was finished with a wide black double grosgrain sash encrusted on the right with Swarovski crystals.
As a finishing touch 10 yards of fine silk tulle were finished for a cathedral length veil.
A true fairy tale gown was created especially for Monifa. White Silk Organza was utilized for the bodice, finished around the sweetheart decolette with a wide band of glass pearl and bugle beading with silver accents.
A full skirt was created using one hundred and fifty yards of tulle over a metal hooped underskirt. The tulle over skirt was hemmed with a wide silk organza boarder, flowing into a long train. Finally, individually sized and crafted organza and chiffon flowers were created, accented with Swarovski crystals, glass beading and marabou feathers, applied from the left hip and cascading diagonally down the skirt and finishing in a romantic flourish at the center back of the train. Truly a spectacular arrangement.
As a designer herself, Jackie wanted something very special for her wedding day. A heavily structured cotton tulle bodice was created to fit as a glove, with all of the construction 'visible' to demonstrate the craftsmanship.
Mountains of tulle were whipped up into a full skirt which was then drawn up into a heavily structured engineered 'bustle' in the rear giving a very modern silhouette yet still allowing for the train of the dress to flow and sweep in the most perfect way.
The right hip of the skirt was finished with hand applied Swarovski Crystals. Each piece individually crafted onto tulle and then appliqued onto the skirt with a small cascade detail.
For Kelly-Jane I created a one off Dupioni Silk masterpiece combining Haute Victorian aesthetics with the boldness of vibrant color.
Wide set shoulder strap details frame the decolette. The bodice is heavily engineered with pleats and darts across the panels thus providing all of the 'fit' without most of the necessary seams.
The full length sheath skirt, again with deep horizontal pleating seamlessly flows into a full skirt in the rear. This was created all in one piece so she was able to get the statuesque image she desired without compromising on comfort and functionality.
